Stripe has announced that it will intake crypto payments and launched a service that enables payments for NFTs and digital assets.
Businesses can use Stripe’s new application programming interface (API) to accept payments for crypto and other related facilities like digital wallets, digital identity for KYC of customers, and to detect fraudulent activities and many more.
So, in this way, developers will get the benefits of using API to integrate into applications and get the desired output.
The firm initiated a partnership with FTX to broaden the crypto aspects and to make it simple for users to invest in crypto.
As a part of this launch Stripe has also launched NFT collectables “Cube Thingies” through Nifty Gateway.
Stripe initially in 2014 cancelled the decision of accepting Bitcoin because of its slow ( TPS Transactions per Second) and high fees at that time.
Stripe also announced that it will reenter the crypto market once it becomes viable and feasible for all to access. And it reentered in 2021.
Moreover, it has built a team to enable seamless functionality in crypto payments.
